Mega TV — formally the Independent Television Company Mega-TV — is a regional broadcaster founded in 1996 and based in Kutaisi, in Georgia’s Imereti region. It has built its identity around regional news and public-interest programming for Kutaisi and the wider Imereti area, running an investigative journalism unit since 2010.
Its schedule includes a daily regional news programme alongside long-running local shows such as the midday magazine Shuadghe Kutaisshi (Noon in Kutaisi), the discussion format Diskursi, and the cultural programme Salomes Baghi (Salome’s Garden). The channel broadcasts in HD via local cable and reaches wider national coverage through Caucasus TV, Silknet and Delta Net.
